This San Mateo County Park located in Pacifica offers a challenging hike with diverse terrain and beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean throughout the climb to the summit of Montara Mountain.

Take 280 North to Highway 1 South to the City of Pacifica. Turn east onto Linda Mar Boulevard until it ends at Oddstad Boulevard. Turn right on Oddstad and drive one block to the park entrance. Turn left into the parking lot.

Our hike will begin on the Brooks Creek Trail then on to the Montara Mountain Trail. We will use the Montara Mountain Road for the final assent to the summit. This hike is a Level 3 and 7.5 miles.

Parking is $5.00. No dogs allowed. Bring water and sunscreen. A lot of the hike has uneven ground/rocky ground. You need to hike with boots for this one. Sneakers won't do. Please conntact your host Janet S. with any questions.
