Garin and Dry Creek Pioneer Regional Parks link together and make for great hiking through grassy hills that offer scenic vistas. It also has creek trails and a pond and an old historic farm..

DIRECTIONS: From San Jose take Hwy 880 North and exit at Whipple rd in Hayward and go east. Turn
left at Mission blvd and turn right at Tamarack dr.
We will meet at the end of the road at the Trail Head.
Drive time is 30 minutes – Parking Free – Dogs allowed (must follow park
rules - dog fee $2)

(Level 3 - Miles: 6 - Elevation ~800') We will start out on the High Ridge Loop Trail and take the Pioneer/Dry creek trail that will take us to the meeting spot at Jordan Pond. We will then re-connect to the High Ridge Loop Trail all the way back to the cars.

RECOMMENDED: Parking is along the streets of a residential area. Please be respectful. Bathrooms are only at the meeting spot.
