Castle Rock State Park is a land of sculpted sandstone, lush forests, and sweeping vistas. Plant lovers come for the California black oaks, knobcone pines, and high elevation redwoods.

The Hike

Level: 3 - Miles: 5 - Elevation: 1000’

We will be hiking along the Ridge trail and Saratoga Gap trail which includes amazing views of the Silicon Valley. Be prepared for a few spots to climb over rocks while on the trail. We will meet in the campground for our meeting. Car pooling is highly encouraged as parking fills up fast in the small lot.
